Those of you who know me, know that my daughter and I are what you would call Disney addicts. We are annual passholders and we go as often as we can. One thing that we have never done, however, is to visit the resorts along the monorail loop to see the Christmas trees, decorations and the gingerbread houses. On Tuesday morning, before heading back to Miami, we decided to head over to the transportation center and board the resort monorail. We got off at each of the three resorts (Polynesian, Grand Floridian and the Contemporary) to see how each was decorated. The Polynesian does not have a gingerbread house, but was nicely decorated. I just loved their unique ceiling decorations. Our favorite stop was at the Grand Floridian, which smelled of gingerbread the minute you walked through the doors.
Please note that these images were all taken with my iPhone. I sure wish there was a way to share the smell with you! Make sure you visit the gallery, as there are many more detailed photos to see there: Gingerbread Houses & Christmas at Disney World
