Fall Equinox Sunrise at Deering Estate

September 18, 2016  •  1 Comment

I spent this morning photographing the fall equinox sunrise at the Deering Estate. I brought my daughter with me for the first time. They actually require you to be 16 and older, but since she's 15 and currently taking a photography course in high school, they made an exception. It was nice to have her with me.

So we had a beautiful sunrise to the east and the harvest moon to the west, which was over the Deering house. We even had a paddle boarder paddle by for a few minutes, so look closely.

You can also view the images in the gallery. Enjoy.  Fall Equinox Sunrise at Deering Gallery

Beautiful Amy. Love them all, especially the ones where the "God rays" are starting to show. Glad you were able to get out there to shoot. Kudos to Kaley on her photography class!
